Emergencies can happen at any time. In Idaho, wildfires in the summer and big winter storms can cause power outages, road closures, and other problems. When this happens, it can be harder for people with disabilities to get the help, medicine, or equipment they need.

About the event

The Idaho Centers for Independent Living (CILs) and the Idaho State Independent Living Council (SILC) are offering annual trainings focused on summer season and winter weather to help people with disabilities prepare before emergencies happen.

REGISTRATION is Required: Free

  • Each training will last 90 minutes, and there will be a 15-minute break during the session.
