Employment Services

Ticket to Work service providers offer Social Security disability beneficiaries (persons who receive SSDI or SSI) age 18 through 64 who want to work with free job support.

 

LINC is an Employment Network:

Our Employment Network (EN) is a Non-Profit Center for Independent Living (CIL) that contracts with Social Security to provide free employment support services to Social Security disability beneficiaries ages 18 through 64. EN services may include:

Career Counseling

Counseling will help identify your Individual interests, talents, skills, experience and education influences, and it will help predict job security and promote well-being.

Job Search Support

Support includes workshops to improve job skills, build soft skills to help establish positive working relationships with co-workers and supervisors. Support also includes help crafting quality resumes, mock job interviews, completing application forms, following up on job leads, strategies to find job openings, and arranging job shadowing and participation in job fairs.

Long-Term Ongoing Employment Support

Monthly support to help you keep a job or move up the career ladder.

Social Security Work Incentive Advisement

Our staff have special training to advise you about your benefits and work incentives. We will provide you with the information you need to make decisions about your employment and what that means for your benefits.

Financial Services & Resources

You will be connected with financial planning training and other resources for your future. We will help you connect your long-term goals with your job and financial planning.
